Data Entry - The Date Of Birth Of Baby's Parents

Calculations in Baby Gender Calculator program are based on calculated dates of conceiving of future baby's parents. More about this you can read . In order to calculate this dates correctly, first it is necessary to enter the dates of birth of baby's parents.

The data about baby's mother's birth are entered on the left side of entry mask and the data about father's birth, on the right side. After starting the program, both dates are set on default value-precisely 30 years from the current system date of the computer. For example, if the system date of the computer is 5 October 2007, both birth dates of the parents-for mother and for father - firstly will be set on 5 October 1977.

In order to change this dates to wanted value, do not try to enter the data directly into the field. Use the left and right arrows that are placed next to each date field. Next to the fields for months, there are single arrows, and next to the fields for days and years, there are single and double arrows. Usage is simple: single left arrow reduces the value in the field for one, and double left arrow reduces it for ten. For example, if in "Day" field, value 20 is entered, after clicking single left arrow, the value will be 19, or, after clicking double left arrow, the value will be 10. Right arrows, obviously, work in the opposite way: to enlarge values in the adequate field for one or for ten.

In "Day" and "Month" fields, changes are circular, which means that if next to the day field that contains number 31, right arrow is clicked, the day field will show number 1.

Values for the "Year" field are limited from the year 1000 to the year 2399 AD.

Values for the "Day" field can be from 1 to 31. In case that you enter the nonexistent date (for example February 31) the program will detect the mistake as soon as you click the button "Accept and Calculate" and you will be warned about it.

By clicking the button "Reset", the existing data are deleted from the fields and set to the default value.

DATA ENTRY - DATA ABOUT PREMATURE OR DELAYED BIRTH OF BABY'S PARENTS

Basic data for calculations that are made by Baby Gender Calculator Program are not the dates of birth of baby's parent, but the dates of their conceiving (you can read more about this ). In order to calculate the dates of conceiving correctly, it is necessary that you enter not only the dates of birth, but also, if known, the data about eventual premature or delayed birth of baby's mother or father in Baby Gender Calculator . This data can significantly influence the later calculations.

When the program is activated, default value for birth of both parents is as if they were born exactly on time, 266 days from the day of their own conceiving. You can change these values separately for the mother and for the father. In case that the parent was born prematurely, it is necessary that in his data field you choose the option "Prematurely". When you do this, field on the right side will be free for the entry, and the number of days of this parent's premature birth should be entered (maximum number that will be accepted by the program is 90). Similar situation is with the delayed birth: choose option "With delay" and enter the number of days (in this case, maximum number of days that will be accepted by the program is 45).

If you do this, entered values will be shown in the report and will be used in recalculation of periods with increased possibility of conceiving a baby of a particular gender.

This program option is fully available in Full (registered) and in Free Trial (unregistered) version of Baby Gender Calculator Program. This option did not exist in the previous version of the program.

By clicking the button "Reset", the existing data from the entry fields, including these ones, are deleted and set to default values.

DATA ENTRY - DATABASE ABOUT THE PARENTS

Keeping data about the parents for the later use is a new option that did not exist in the previous (0.23) version of Baby Gender Calculator Program. In 0.4x version, this option is available in Full (registered) and in Free Trial (unregistered) version of Baby Gender Calculator.

Maximum number of parents whose data can be kept in program database is 255 for each gender. Their name, date of birth and the data about eventual premature and/or delayed birth are kept in the database.

Name of the parent is entered in the suitable field using the keyboard, and report contains this data as well, if it is entered.

Entered data about the parent are saved in the program database automatically (only in case that the parent's name is entered) after the clicking button "Accept And Calculate". Data about the parents whose name is not entered will not be saved in the program database. If name of only one parent was entered (and not of the other), the data that contains the name will be saved, and the ones that do not will not be saved – data is saved per person, not per couple.

In case that you enter the new (and different) data about the parents' birth under the same name, the newer data will rewrite the later ones. Advice: in case that there are two different persons with the same name, and you want to save the data about both of them, enter two different names, or add some mark for making difference and recognition to the first and last name.

Already entered data can be chosen and used from the drop-down list that is shown after clicking the arrow next to the field for the name. Names in the list are sorted in alphabetical order. Selection is made by positioning on the name and clicking the left button of the mouse. After making the selecting, suitable fields for entries will be filled in with the data about the selected person from the database. Data about the person can be deleted from the program database. First, choose the person who you would like to remove from the list, from the drop-down list by clicking on your mouse and than click the button that is placed on the right side of the field for names entry. This button is active only when the related field for the name is filled in. While inserting the data about person from program database, program will ask for the additional confirmation. Inserting data from the database is irretrievable.

WORK WITH REPORTS

Full (registered version):

Baby Gender Calculator enables you to make three types of report:

Selection of the report is made by choosing one of the offered options, such as: "All periods", "Girls period only" or "Boys period only" before clicking on "Accept And Calculate" button. The report made by default is List of all periods.

After this, in order to make the report, click on "Accept And Calculate" button. Selected report will be made with the currently active on-screen data about the parents.

Previously made report is shown on-screen as long as one of the buttons "Accept And Calculate" (that is used to replace the existing report with the new one) or "Reset" (that is used to remove the existing report) is not clicked. As long as the report is on screen, you can print it (by clicking the button "Print"), save its contents into a text file (by clicking the button "Save As TXT File") or copy it to the clipboard on your PC by clicking the button "Copy To Clipboard" (which is equivalent to pressing buttons "Ctrl"+"C" in most text editors in Windows OS).

By clicking the button "Print" normal window with printing options will be opened (choice of the printer, print quality adjustment, number of copies, etc.) and printing of the report is enabled. This is different from the previous version of Baby Gender Calculator in which printing on printer predefined by Windows OS was done right after clicking the button "Print".

By clicking the button "Save As TXT File" normal window, which enables you to choose the name and location of the text file in which you wish to save the complete contents of the report that has been made, will be opened.

In the previous version of Baby Gender Calculator the writing was done in HTML file. By clicking the button "Copy To Clipboard" the complete contents of the report that has been made is placed into the clipboard on your PC, and the information about that is given. This enables you to use the contents of copied report afterwards in some text editor or for example in email writing ( by using the option "Paste", or commonly "Ctrl"+"V").

Free Trial (unregistered) version:

The biggest difference between Full (registered) and Free Trial (unregistered) version of Baby Gender Calculator 0.43 is in possibilities to make and later to use and change the reports.

In Free Trial version of Baby Gender Calculator, it is possible only to make the main report (list of all periods). The reports made in Full mode contain all the calculated periods that covers complete mutual fertile time of child's parents. The report made in Free Trial mode contains only several randomly selected periods, but not all periods.

In Free Trial (unregistered) version of Baby Gender Calculator Program options "Print", "Save As TXT File" and "Copy To Clipboard" are not available.

HOW TO ACTIVATE LICENSE KEY?

Your License Key file will be sent to you via e-mail, which will unlock all limitations of the Free Trial versions. Process of sending License Key is completely automated, so that License Key will be sent to your e-mail address practically at once, in a few minutes after making the payment. If you've not received your email with the License Key file it might have been filtered by anti-spam software on your server.

Email with License Key file will be sent to you to the email address that you entered while filling in the payment application form. License Key file will be attached to that email. After receiving email with License Key file attached, you are supposed to do the following:

1. Save your Licence Key file on your hard disc. In case that you use Microsoft Outlook, you can do this by choosing option "File >> Save Attachments" from the main menu of this program.
2. In case that you have not already done it, please install Free Trial version of Baby Gender calculator Program v0.43 (not 0.42 or 0.42s!) on your PC. You can take over the installing folder directly from . In case that you have already installed Baby Gender Calculator v0.43 on your PC, skip this step.
3. Activate Baby Gender Calculator Program v0.43.
4. In Baby Gender Calculator Program, choose option "Add Licence Key".
5. Find Licence Key file on your PC (where you saved it in step 1), mark it, and click the button "Open"
